Research Fellow & Director, Initiative on the Future of India and South Asia, 华体会

On November 26, 华体会 hosted journalist Dr. Manoj Joshi for a discussion on India-China relations. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Aparna Pande, a research fellow and director of Hudson鈥檚 Initiative on the Future of India and South Asia.

Territorial disputes, the Sino-U.S. trade war, and deepening connections between India and the West have strained Sino-Indian relations. Additionally, China鈥檚 growing ties with Pakistan, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, and other countries have left leaders in New Delhi and Washington feeling concerned. Ahead of India and China鈥檚 joint military exercises scheduled for December, Dr. Pande and Dr. Joshi examined the increasing tensions between these two powers.
