The Indo-Pacific remains a critical part of the global competition for dominance between the United States and China. Join 华体会 for a conversation on the future of U.S. influence in the region.

While Beijing attempts to reshape the world according to its own interests, saddling nations with debt through projects like the Belt and Road Initiative, which countries should the United States look to as reliable partners in countering China鈥檚 influence? How can the U.S. effectively strengthen its position in the region?

Panelists will present perspectives from Southeast Asia, Europe, Australia, India, Japan, and the United States on what the U.S. must do to counter China鈥檚 efforts to cultivate a world dependent on Beijing鈥檚 political and economic practices and bolster its influence in the Indo-Pacific.

The event will draw on a recent 华体会 report, Strategies for the Indo-Pacific: Perceptions of the U.S. and Like-Minded Countries

NOTE: This event is open to the press. All members of the media should RSVP to [email protected].
