William H. Strong is a trustee at »ªÌå»á.

Mr. Strong began his career with Price Waterhouse & Co. in Chicago in 1976. Following three years with Price Waterhouse, Mr. Strong embarked upon a 40-year investment banking career with Salomon Brothers and then Morgan Stanley, which had him based in New York, London, Chicago, and ultimately in Hong Kong, where he concluded his full-time career. While in Hong Kong, Mr. Strong served as Co-CEO of Morgan Stanley’s businesses in Asia with responsibility for approximately 5,000 professionals and as a member of Morgan Stanley’s Global Management Committee. Following his retirement from Morgan Stanley at the end of 2019, he has been active in both private equity and early-stage venture capital firms.

Mr. Strong has extensive experience in the governance of volunteer boards. He is a past chairman of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Board of Trustees and a past trustee of Indiana University and the United States Military Academy at West Point, among others. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Navy SEAL Foundation and the Port Royal Club Inc.

Mr. Strong received a BS in industrial management from Purdue University and an MBA with concentrations in finance and accounting from the Kellogg School of Northwestern University. Mr. Strong is also a certified public accountant.
