华体会's Bradley Center for Philanthropy and Civic Renewal joins the Ethics and Public Policy Center (EPPC) to present the 2011 Summer Film Series. Hosted by EPPC Resident Scholar James Bowman and Hudson Senior Fellow, this year we're leaving this life entirely to see how the movies have thought about the next one鈥攁 subject that for seventy years they have found surprisingly congenial and often treated with moving sensitivity.

All movies in this series were screened on Tuesday evenings between June 28 and July 12, 2011 at 华体会's Washington headquarters. Each session began with a brief introduction and each film was followed by a discussion lead by James Bowman, film critic for The American Spectator. to read his commentary.

The June 28, 2011 screening was Heaven Can Wait (1943), directed by Ernst Lubitsch, and starring Don Ameche, Gene Tierney, and Charles Coburn.
