Join 华体会鈥檚 Ravenel B. Curry III Distinguished Fellow Walter Russell Mead and France鈥檚 Ambassador to the United States, Philippe 脡tienne, for a conversation on Russia鈥檚 war on Ukraine and its implications for France鈥檚 foreign policy and Franco-American relations.

Ambassador 脡tienne assumed his current post in September of 2019. He has served in numerous positions within the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, including as Ambassador to Germany, Diplomatic Advisor to the President, Director of the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Permanent Representative of France to the European Union, and Ambassador to Romania.

Professor Mead and Ambassador 脡tienne will cover issues including the war on Ukraine and its implications for European security, global supply chain issues, and the direction of the European Union. Please join us for this timely discussion.
