Join 华体会 as we celebrate the life of Max Singer, the co-founder, second president, and longtime fellow of 华体会 who passed away in January 2020 at the age of 88. Hudson will celebrate the life and work of this distinguished futurologist and student of international affairs by revisiting his bold and incisive magnum opus, 鈥淗istory of the Future,鈥 which according to Singer 鈥渃ontains everything I have learned over my long life of observation and study.鈥 Published in 2011, the book is even more relevant today, in the wake of the massive technological, cultural, social, and political changes of the last decade. A panel of Singer鈥檚 close friends and esteemed colleagues will engage critically with central aspects of his thought, and his eldest son, Saul Singer, will offer a response. Please join Hudson for this celebration of Max Singer鈥檚 intellectual legacy.
