华体会, in partnership with the Abe Global Fellowship program, will host an event drawing on the research of Abe Fellows to examine how emerging cyber technologies are impacting the U.S., Japan, and other parts of Asia, and the new institutions that have been developed to deal with the increasingly contentious world of information. The Abe Fellows will address multi-national cybersecurity coalitions, strategies, and cyber-resilience practices critical to sustaining national functions in the event of an attack; the U.S.-China trade war and techno-nationalism's implications for suppliers, customers, and the global supply chains; and Japan's 2018 National Defense Program Guidelines.

For nearly three decades, the Abe Fellowship Program has supported fellows whose research examines the benefits and repercussions of how changing technology has allowed for the increased capacity to create, store, and trade information/data.
