On April 8, 2013, 华体会鈥檚 convened a distinguished panel of experts from business, science, public health, law, and the academic world for an off-the-record workshop on a working draft of Reclaiming Innovation in the Life Sciences: Reform FDA, Modernize its Culture by Scott Gottlieb and Dr. Gottlieb is a physician and resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, and formerly served as deputy commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration. Mr. Troy is a visiting fellow at 华体会 and former deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Reclaiming Innovation in the Life Sciences 鈥� which will be published in final form as the fourth in a series of major research papers by Hudson鈥檚 Innovation Initiative, and thereafter available for download on this page 鈥� is a careful analysis of procedural rules and regulatory guidelines governing FDA review of proposed new medical treatments and pharmaceutical products, and a prescription for major reform of that system in the interests of improved public health and economic efficiency.
